Best wishes to all those effected in Japan, terrible footage and major casualties expected.

I have travelled extensively in Japan over the last six years, love the place and people, feels like its happened in my backyard. Also have friends living in Tokyo, they are safe but trains are not working so they are stuck in their offices, waiting to get home to family. People don't know what to do.

I was only just over there late Jan/Feb when a volcano erupted (not sure where exactly) Perhaps a precusor to this shocking disaster; same with the Christchurch tragedy?
