Haha it is a massive co-incidence you mention that. Over lunch I was reading a magazine article about managing paediatric pain and one of the 'myths' it discussed was exactly that "pain is character building". The article dismissed this since excessive exposure to pain in infants can cause neuroplasty.
I believe PLA are a good emerging platinum proder and I am still hanging onto my PLA stock well into 2009 and beyond I hope!
