Well the stats say that he is the greatest bowler and wisden says he is the greatest bowler in this century. The late Don Bradmon said the same. His record speaks for himself and he holds the world record. He acheived it so fast that no other bowler will ever acheive it for a very long time.
The ICC has not banned him cos technically all bowlers straighten/bend their arms. Because of technology one can clearly see it these days. They said that if this technology was there when Lillie and Thomo were bowling they would have been classed illegal as well. Dennis Lillee said this himself.
