There is the issue of Tall Poppy Syndrome that aussies have, especially the cricketers until they get chewed up lol.
My parents came here at a young age. My father put of with being called "Camel Driver" by his work mates for years and years. (Well cant call them mates) They laughed at his expense. They could take the piss out of him. When he joked back he acutally got fired.
Funny thing is, there are no camels where he is from. Ignorance again.
But moving on with the times, it seems there is just more and more racism based on Tall Poppy Syndrome.
No one is out to take over anyone. No one is asking for all female to wear a Burqa in AUS, and Islam doesnt allow a forceful resolve to acheive this. SO dont worry just enjoy life.
