As I have insinuated in previous posts, I am currently a 5/10 year temporary property bear, however, after reading the below article, I could be forgiven for becoming a permanent property bear.
In Switzerland, about 7 in 10 of the population are renters. Yet, with Europe's lowest home-ownership rate, the nation thrives.
Spain has approximately the highest home-ownership rate in Europe (at more than 80%, though the current exact figure is unclear). One-quarter of its population its unemployed.
