ok, here's a little riddle for you
if i have a pair of 2s in a game of poker, they probably have around a 50% chance of winning before the flop. if i bet hard to try and scare everyone out, but i get a taker, i probably have less of a chance of winning, as the other guy might have a better pair or AK. however the other guy is a known serial ramper, or bluffer.
the flop comes out, and three rags come out, so i just pass. the serial ramper bets a little bit more.
most of my money is already on the table, and i still have a small but unlikely chance of winning the hand with trips (or maybe a straight), so what should i do?
do i call and try my luck, or do i just give my money to the known bluffer???
the answer, in my opinion, is to actually push the bluffer to go all in, and see what he does. i mean heck, i have already committed to the pot, so all we are trying to find out here is ARE YOU A BLUFFER?
