No Beanjet, once again, the Palestinians were not forced out of their homes. They left because they were told the muslim armies would sweep through Israel and drive the jews into the sea. Bad luck about that.
Another big worry for the arabs was the rate arabs were voluntarily selling real estate to jews. They tried peaceful coexistence but everyone knows about the ongoing terrorist attacks against jews. You can't ignore that violent fairly recent history if you are Israeli.
