What I described was the early events in the formation of israel. That exodus of Arabs from Israel resulted in the palestinian refugee camps around the Arab world. you had guys like Arafat, born in Cairo from a Palestinian father and an Egyptian mother.. Arafat led the PLO into the Oslow peace talks, which failed despite the Nobel peace prizes, and violence continued. For a while Arafat led the PLO from Jordan. Look at the 1976 hostage rescue operation at Entebbe airport. Sura a long time ago, but still in living memory with Netanyahu leading the audacious raid, and his brother killed. I can imagine a serious grudge against Palestinians, and frankly similar grudges from the Palestinian side. I have no idea how they can solve that situation.
I do think it is a disgrace that their so called muslim brothers in the region left the Palestinians cramped into those refugee camps. I visited one in Beirut in 75, and you could feel the tension. Nobody wanted them.
