MARKET TALK: Investors Snap Up Copper Strike, Shrs Double 02/03/05 12:02:00

1202 [Dow Jones] Investors pile into Copper Strike (CSE.AU) to get exposure to
what surely is one of most handsome copper strikes in Australian history. Shares
double to 38 cents on huge volume of 28 million shares, more than half of CSE
listed shares. Run follows report of drilling below former Einasleigh copper
mine, near Cairns. Intercepts include 50 meters grading 6.65% copper including
25 meters grading 9.1%, while another hole intersected 15 meters grading 4.39%
copper. Based on these results, CSE will be keen to prove up a commercial mine.
