Hi Rebel, I did charge rent and when they moved out they were very grateful (as it was cheap).... I also did show them bills and how to read them and get good deals....how a house works. We did not give pocket money but paid well for jobs and taught them how to cook, clean and maintenance on cars.... Mowers etc.... paid them.
The more you can do yourself ... the better off you are ... and can spot a scammer. We now have kids that teach us... But it is your choice and your kids ...... am sure your kids are lovely like you
