Just read a news post that states that some driver's from a courier company are alleging that they were asked to work all day (on the fleet grounding Sunday) on the Thursday before. The insinuation is that QAN and Mr. Joyce knew about the grounding days before the Saturday after the QAN AGM. Really interesting stuff.

Can we get the driver's or management of the courier company who are making such claims in front of the Senate (if there is a senate inquiry mark 2)?? Perhaps they should get sworn statements from each and every QAN board member about what they knew and when??? Mr. Joyce said that he only decided at 10:30am on the Saturday and that the board had a meeting about midday on the same day. It just does not add to me that the whole board would be available at such short notice so how is it that they were all there??


I personally would not be surprised if another company outside of QAN had some sort of knowledge of something extra-ordinary (like a mail drop to 6000 addresses on a Sunday)if indeed the decision was made well before the Saturday. If this is the case, IT WILL come out eventually and Mr. Joyce will have some VERY DIFFICULT questions to answer.

If (and that is a big IF) Mr. Joyce is found to have lied about this in front of a senate committee, I feel he and the board should all resign or be sacked. Surely their position would now be untenable.
