The other factor behind the s/p rise is the institutional buying which is apparent. The CEO in that you tube video with Kohler answered in the affirmative when questioned about institutional investors coming "on board". I think that this is helping to push the s/p north as positions are being taken with a view to holding for the longer term growth and cash flow that this stock promises.
So, in that context I don't see the s/p as overly inflated - in fact, I would not be surprised to so this run continue quite strongly with any pull back being quite minimal.
If the "big guys" are buying in and staying in there's no way I'm selling any time soon even though the s/p accretion has been quite breathtaking.
