The band I was in have label support and at the time they got us some decent endorsements with Fender & Jackson guitars so I didn't pay anywhere near retail, I'd maybe had it 6 months at that point. So wasn't brand new but wasn't old by any means.
In saying that I can't remember whether it was Qantas or Jetstar that lost an entire cymbal stand set that weighed upwards of 50kgs on a Cairns to Melb via Sydney in 2019. I just cannot comprehend how it's possible.
Ibanez are very good, always have been. I'd love to get one myself but divorces are expensive I've heard.
