Hi , I dislike government subsidizing private companies. Classic privatizing the profits and socialise the losses. However , I have no problem with a publicly owned , corporately run regional airline [ think post office] My definition of a regional airline is from the region to a city , or intra- regional. In our wide brown land ,the socialist in me feels that certain levels of transportation are owed to the regions , a bit like health care . We can argue about the level. cheers
