    Strange, Niels, that any paper would run that story.
    In theory, the idea of a hijack with the intent to collect ransom for the passengers, especially the "specialists", would be plausible.
    And as the West has a policy of not negotiating with terrorists/hijackers, the silence regarding that hijacking having occurred would be understandable.
    BUT, it is completely at odds with what we know, or think we know, and all the opinions of our experts. We have scores of nations spending $hundreds of millions on the current search, and the thought that they are all involved in a conspiracy of silence to cover up that hijack by pretending to search our oceans just doesnt gel.It didnt happen.
    Some Russian obviously has a warped sense of humour.
    A bummer, really, because it would have been great to be able to hope that the passengers and crew are still alive.
