I like the exploration of different ideas -
how would that help pork barrelling??
lets say that we (Party X) 'choose' you for Minister of Education ---
lets say that you liked your position because of it's monetary reward and prestige - you were self serving.
As a Minister - would you not then be able to divert funds into seats that if won by Party X would assist Party X to stay in power - and, hence - keep you in the gig (as long as you had the Party X power onside?????
thereby - really almost turbo charging pork barrelling
