BTR brightstar resources limited

should we be concerned?

Twice in a week - I'm also a holder in RES which had an announcement which, prima facie, should have seen a significant uplift in the share price - yet it finished the day in the red - even without the run up beforehand!

Anyway back to the stock in question, BTR. I like the outlook for copper but I'm no GEO, just an investor/punter like the majority of HCers I guess. On the face of it this looked like a good announcement and the stock went up in early trade. Then the smart money makes its move and down she goes - OK I thought, just another example of "buy on rumour sell on fact". Then poster Martie gets technical, raises some potential issues, and I start to wonder. Then we have some positive news out of Europe and the "risk trade" is back on - yet BTR continues to fall. This is what concerns me most. Perhaps this is just the short term traders getting out once it became clear that we weren't going above $1.50?

Would like to hear from any better qualified people than me to determine the value of what BTR actually has in light of this announcement and what it means in value per share. Perhaps somebody could post some broker reports when they become available.

    GL to all holders
