I live in the US, and I guarantee you that house prices in Australia are resilent compared to here.
Australian banks haven't suffered on large residential mortgage write offs....its been the Corporate Lending that's been hitting them hard. Here in the US every lending sector is being hit hard - residential mortgages, corporate lending, credit cards, unsecured.
Agree house prices aren't going up, but they're not going to hell in a hand basket like Vegas, Florida etc.
