Lots of merit in your idea; consider the agreement CFE have with AML for access to rail (only 3km from the process plant) and port facilities (operating port at Pepel) plus the at gate call option for approx 2Mtpa.

Also, consider London Mining in the mix. Are there opportunitities here for shared infrastructure leading to synergies which might create significant win/win opportunities for all 3 parties.

The published operating cost for Marampa also make it look very competitive, if it can be believed.

These competitive advantages make this IMO the best of the bunch when looking at West African IO opportunities and should be the next to get off the ground.
