I struggle every time there is a sports person/famous type who has fallen on tough times.
I cant help but think that there are a hell of a lot of people out there who have not had the opportunities that these people have had and have to suffer in silence because they will never receive the help or support that will be available to the Thorpes of this world.
Thorpe & a lot of people like him have been spoon fed all there life's just because they are good at there chosen sport.
If he has blown all the money on the good life and all of a sudden and has to fend for himself well that is not anyone's problem but his.
Im not sure whether this is the reason but more often than not that is the case.
