disagree re "no choice". I see another choice, ie the holders club together and buy the company out? If you got $500k together as an offer, then could hardly reject it, guven perilous position. Could get a deal maker in place as interim ceo and get the previous results checked independently to rule out any overstating the science.
the CR will just pay wages for a few months, until the company folds. This could be a better alternative.
