Hochtief will still need to satisfy the Takeovers Panel, which will not be as easy as it sounds as the biggest construction and mining services company in the country. There may be benefits for Cimic to throttle down to 51% and off loading 26% at a premium to Elliott. Hopefully there will be some kind of an announcement next week.
