Yes, it is very similar to Clipp which started out as a bar tab app but had to morph into a discount app.
They have struggled. Even after they got ALH onboard with 350 venues and a $5m capital injection. Others have come and gone.
www.eatclub.com.au is a last minute deals type app which was featured in AFR yesterday.
