The minister decided in favour of Rio in the public interest. A company that did not bother to utilize the land for 20 years and had no immediate plans to mine became the favoured party in the eye of the public. Interesting interpretation from a typical politician against a local small miner who had an interest in mining immediately and in favour of an os multinational.
Forget Rio, I would love to see the B’s castigated.
