I think that you are incorrect. On page 2 of the doc I referenced in my previous post here is the quote that should clarify.
"The chalcocite zone contains very rich (up to 15% Cu) chalcocite mineralisation, with some primary ore intrusion. The primary ore is chalcopyrite mineralisation in a range of rock types. Both pyrite and magnetite are dispersed through the three ore types, to varying amounts. The pyrite contains the majority of the cobalt and the remainder is found as cobalt sulphide minerals which are able to be recovered in the flotation plant"
As you can see pyrite is dispersed across all ore types ( so before any processing as occurred)
