Exactly no software is a crystal ball for announcements or 1 off happenstances, but mathematical algorithms do clearly detect trends, volatility, momentum and general direction.

And true, the last major run has still left many/most stocks volatile as people have run to dividend stocks, this means that people are still worried, and feel there is no where to go, bank interest is soft, gold is down, property is soft, company profits are not great.

Back to Idc, hold on to your hats, would have though a pre open announcement by now. If they delay and release a dud announcement on Monday, we are in a world of pain, in my opinion.
