It really hit me the other day when I brought home a packet of Aldi home brand Choc Mint biscuits. I think I noticed it more because I'm not really keen on anything with a mint taste, but I'm prepared to make an exception with Chocolate Mint bikkies. But if they get any smaller they will be about the same size as a 50 cent piece....and will probably cost as much...each. Now what else has shrunk. Boxes of tissues and how full they are. Microwave lasagna, depending on what brand you get from Woolies. Their home brand is the best. Bags of cat biscuits, well maybe the bag hasn't shrunk but how much they put in them has I'm sure. But they haven't shrunk the size of a bottle of wine, at least I don't think so, it just seems that way.
