This issue is growing worse almost daily.

I maintain a price list for things I buy and
include the weights so I don't get ripped off
(unknowingly).

Look out for reductions in content of the
eponymous ingredient in tins also, like
tuna being replaced by more spring water
or oil.

Regulation is required so the changes are
shown on the changed products. "New Smaller Pack,
New Higher Price", should get the cash
registers ringing.

Only consumer vigilance, and loud complaints
will stop this.

Unfortunately most Australians are sheep.
