I had need of liquidity today and decided to sell approx 2000 SHV at 4.60.
8 buyers 760 shares at 4.60 and a few sellers at 4.61
I placed my order to sell at 4.60
My order was immediately satisfied at 4.65!
Market again 8 buyers 700 shares at 4.60 with sellers 4.61
I placed my order to sell 650 at 4.60
Order immediately satisfied at 4.65
Market again 8 buyers 750 shares 4.60 with sellers at 4.61
I placed my order to sell 700 at 4.60
Order immediately satisfied at 4.65.
Market left at 9 buyers 773 shares at 4.6 and sellers 4.61
Can somebody explain?
If brokers/inst can intervene at that point in the buy/sell then what else are they doing ?
