Brave movement from a management team under the pump not to take a $5.85/share cash bid to disgruntled shareholders.
Yes very conditional proposal, but they all are these days so that is not an excuse.
Would have beed the easiest placement ever, potential 40% upside taking stock at $4.20 with an indicative $5.85 bid. Hope the fees were structured accordingly.
I am all for Australian assets staying in the hands of Australian's, and looking past the half yearly EPS cycle for a solid investment, but not taking a big to shareholders is very risky...good luck SHV team!
