The Solomon Islands Prime Minister says he wants to improve business ties with Australia so it becomes his country's number one foreign investor.
Manasseh Sogavare outlined his desire at the Australia Solomon Islands Business Forum in Brisbane saying his government is working to improve the business environment.
Australia's Minister for International Development and the Pacific, Concetta Fierravanti-Wells, was also at the forum and says her government stands ready to help.

I was speaking to adrisa recently and we were discussing the project and the need for a diplomatic resolution to the isabel situation, a situation that keeps japan, Australia and the Solomon's happy.
For Japan does contribute a lot of money annually as does australia and a solution that is mutual will be a win win for everyone...
Plenty more info out there if your using the masons google browser (that's the one woth the real info)
