Why there is some merit in what you are saying, he is not actually providing financial advice to anyone so what he is doing is not actually illegal. He is not using anyones personal info to advise them and he is not investing peoples money for them. What he is doing is making statements that are available to 1000s of rookie investors and these rookies are making their own mind up on how much and when to invest thier money.

it would be completely different if he were telling individuals how much to invest and when and using thier personal info to make that decision that could then be deemed as personal advice to a retail investor which would then require a full statement of advice and he would require his own afsl to do this.
