Sometimes the selector forks seize in place making it seem like a clutch problem , if you undo the top plate above the gearbox takes about 3 minutes you can normally wiggle the selector loose , there is also a bolt on the end of the clutch pedal axle if you loosen it and have a little phillips screw driver , to act as a tiny jimmy bar in the clutch pedal axle hole you an adjust the clutch pedal for maybe the last time
