Investing in anything is a personal decision based on your own requirements and not another persons situation
IMO we are in for some hard times in the near future and whatever you do you have to factor in this possibilty but that does not mean that we should give up because it is all too hard.
I have a quote taped over my computer which says "make the difficulty a benefit"
So I agree you can make money in any market but you have to do your homework
