It was a tongue in cheek comment. Apart from the presentations, there are many marketing booths, as at any conference.
I think it is wonderful that such a large profit driven technology company is interested in the R&D needed and the marketing to sell equipment that supports SIRT.
One has to assume that Siemens has spent this money (probably several million $) as their analysis suggests a bigger market for SIRT.
SRX is starting to show its strategy of moving from a niche player to more main stream. Collaboration with Bayer for the French trial, Siemens for the technology to allow better results. SAP for their enterprise systems. Germany appears to be the go these days.
