this news should be directly related with another news in this week:
Baotou Rare Earth High-performance magnetic materials company will upcoming to reach an annual output of 5,000 tons production capacity on Phase II for NdFeB magnets.
as a joint venture with Siemens, the plant will be expected to provide the required magnet for wind turbines.
and from Phase I on capacity 1500 tons, as a main supplier for Siemens.
this news has nothing to do with Lynas, because Siemens's need are finished end-products of magnet but
not rare earth oxides.
