Your survey of the copper M&A graveyard is sobering.
AC & team have a LOT of drilling to do on Jericho - open along strike in both directions and at depth - plus interesting adjacent opportunities. The recent spike in Copper prices means they have the FCF for an energetic exploration program without jeopardising the concentrator expansion or link drive to Jericho.
The Peake and Denison JV with BHP (ex OZL) barely gets a mention, suggesting both parties have better things to do. The BHP interest will lapse soon and A1M can on-sell to eg Copper Search. Might have to take more paper than cash.
Oh, and Aurora (in liquidation) is FNQ around Cairns, a long way from A1M's hunting ground Cloncurry to Mt Isa.
