This was only 2 months ago....however he was unable to get the Hawaii Tourist Association CEO gig.

Except for roughly three years serving as an HTA board member, two of them as chairman, McCartney has little experience in tourism. Yet he managed to beat out the reported runner-up, Paul Casey, a former executive with Hawaiian Airlines and the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau.
