I believe ASIC froze his assets in August of 2009. Not sure whether that would include companies he controls though.
No idea if he still has shares tucked away in the "National Nominees Limited" holding.
Good decision in all, hopefully a few million more on the balance sheet will push the shares back above the capital raising price.
