the real issue here is not PoO (Price of Oil) but BPT SP:
- On Nov 17, 2020 BPT closed at $1,7 and brent future $ 44. Just using a date data point.
- On June 9, 2021 BPT closed at $1,275 (30%) and Brent $ 72 0r 65% UP.
So if you made a decision to buy BPT as a proxy of rising POO one can make the calculation of how poor is the performance of this one.
