If I am not mistaken, the super extended discount terms are usually negotiated in deals with the actual brand or generic manufacturer and only facilitated through the Wholesaler. The generic manufacturers are going crazy with their discounts and extended credit terms to corner markets. One generic manufacturer was offerering remarkable terms to put in their Somac equivalent - free.

I don't believe Sigma would be supplying the credit for these deals - it would be the manufacturer.

Obviously in some situations to win over big accounts Sigma may offer some very good terms for a "honeymoon" period.

The huge majority of Sigmas business would be on 30 days terms with longer terms usually "turnover" deals facilitated only with credit support from the manufacturers.

A lot of "Discount Chemists" will fall by the wayside when the "generic scamble" ends shortly.
