These announcements get funnier (or is that more funny?) every time. Ayi Jihu the "Chinese Madonna"!! Maybe she is, but either her Chinese fans are forbidden to look at youTube or her 23,000 views since 2007 (the most I could find for "Ayi Jihu shlepp new sexy chinese artist") are fudged. And what about all those fans in the West? Well, maybe her label won't allow youTube distribution of her material. But why the emphasis on this artist in the announcement anyway? It's all a little too obscure for me. I do like the Chinese potential for GCN but meanwhile ... finger still over the sell button.
