Performance fees a bonus and should never be multiplied for future periods. I was expecting none this half so 5mio (3c a share odd) is better than expected.
Company doesn't look to outperform month over month or half over half. People calling for a demise are short sighted. Look at the flows from retail alone... 200m plus average the last 4 months.
I also suspect the stock is targeted by short sellers on the back of the sell off in btt and hgg. Unfairly I might add.
There is probably some selling due to new financial year as people take profit from previously periods but who had been waiting for a new tax year.
42 to 40bn is mainly due to fall in Aud.
