I'm never sure whether markets are dominated by chartists or fundamentalists but MTB enjoys a concurrence of favourable factors for enthusiasts of both.

I've held MTB for about two years now, waiting for exactly the scenario you describe. With good news potential from its drill programmes in Botswana and Namibia and its WA gold royalty stream coming online next year, there is plenty of fuel available to send this one rocketing. A general bull market for gold could even do the job unaided and I see a close above the US$400/oz mark as likely this month or next, providing the broad signal that this event is indeed occurring.
