Of the 40KT production (initial nameplate) 30KT is sold, 20KT to Thyessen Krupp and 10KT to an unnamed European Trader. The MOU from Sojitz was for the balancing 10Kt. Additional to this the 40KTpa plant can produce 44KT.

An additional injection of 20M USD Capex will boost the plant from 40/44KTpa to 80KTpa, and still not require a special mining licence (under 100M Capex). Sojitz may well be putting up this cash.

So we are uncertain as to whether this is a 10KT, 14KT or 50KT deal.

As others have said, for Andrew Spinks (who is miserly with words that would engender any hint of hype, as has been said by others today), the use of the word "Significant" connotes a number higher than 10KTpa. As to the margin - no details have be been disclosed in company announcements.
