    Nowhere Man

I have IT background and know zilch about geology or minerals. Forgot all my chemistry from high school days. But the announcement highlighted 'Felsic Porphyry at depth' and I see you as well as other posters mentioned it.

So I've been reading up trying to understand the significance or potential. Wikipedia says ...

    --
It refers to those rocks rich in silicate minerals, magma, and rocks which are enriched in the lighter elements such as silicon, oxygen, aluminium, sodium, and potassium.
    --

I'm not sure if Wikipedia is just giving a few example (e.g. not an exhaustive list). My question is: What potential do we expect in this 'Felsic Porphyry at depth' that should excite us?

Could you, or anyone else who understands, please elaborate?
