I agree the major corporates will decide RIV's fate, but certainly there is an additional corporate play occurring separate to the RIO offer. Only corporates would purchase over 1M RIV @ $17 in 3 or 4 transactions on 29 Dec. And on other occasions as well lesser parcels were bought at $17. Without a doubt a corporate play. We shall wait and see who the mystery buyer is. My hope it is a counter offer to RIO. Worst case it is Tata increasing it's holding or the Indian consortium ahead of a controlling interest by RIO. Best case it is a counter bidder to challenge RIO. DYOR.
