Do you have any idea what the impact a material (likely record) rainfall event has on an SXEW operation?
- SXEW pads are essentially large catchment areas for the rainfall
- Rainfall tracks through the pads and into the PLS dams (filling dams and diluting the PLS) - potential for dams to fill beyond capacity and overflow
- the diluted PLS can be a challenge to deal with. If the acid is diluted sufficiently, then you will need fresh acid when you restart leach activities
