Time to refocus again on the "whats next scenarios":
Lets not forget that this is the "Konkerra Upgrade that we had to have" (this was a number crunch announcement that had to be made irrespective of the share price) and not get too underwhelmed (i.e., it was never going to provide the mineable ounces that management have stated that they require for the PFS).
Also remember AMX have MOVED ON... from the Konkerra announcement made today.......like months ago!!
We are now likely to get JORC resource statements from the "satellite drilling projects" that have occured over the last 12 months". These numbers might not be significant when viewed in isolation (perhaps adding further downward momentum to share price) - although will add to the total "Global Battie West Resource" (relevant for those shareholder looking at the "long-term big picture).
The 300K-400K of mineable oxide ounces is where the company focus is NOW.
Reason: to convince the market that this can be a robust project even if the price of gold drops further.
Once Kitto and Totterdell drop the 300K-400K mineable ounces into the PFS, then we can be certain that they have a short term robust project (whatever the price of gold "throughs up" over the next year or 2) - which in the passing of time will prove to be a very long-term extremely profitable project.
IMO they will find these ounces and any fall in the share price as a result of "announcement noise" -of the likes that we have seen today are opportunities for the long-term investor to buy more. Remember eventually the noise will stop (IMO within 2-3 months as stated in my first post around 23/02/13).
IMO rest assured that the management team are being extremely conservative and diligent at this crucial nexus as AMX moves forward and will eventually "show their hand" regarding the short-term robustnest of the project... to the surprise of the doomsayers (currently "folding") and who are unfortunately too focussed on the short-term "noise announcements"(which in reality are long-term positives).
