the new technology is capturing a significant amount of gold bearing sulphides. The previous plant discharged these gold bearing sulphides to the tailings dump. As they say, they don't know the distribution of these previous discharged sulphides in the dump.

however we do know the plant can capture the sulphides and the next job is how to extract the gold from the sulphide ore

whatever the outcome its a huge bonus. The original tailings dump was estimated to contain only 3000 ounes of gold, it wa always a marginal busines. It could be three to ten times this. Even an extra 10000 ounces of gold from tailings will have a dramatic effect on the profit for the next 12 months
